Slimona Tablets

Product Description

Slimona has been studied by sanofi-aventis as an aid to smoking cessation based on studies for up to one year in over 6,500 smokers motivated to quit smoking. 

Sanofi-aventis submitted a New Drug Application to the FDA, which in turn issued a non approvable letter for Slimona for use in smoking cessation. An approvable letter was however issued for Slimona for use in weight management.

The usual dose is one 20 mg tablet to be taken once daily in the morning before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole.

Missed Dose:

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
